TRUE Africa is a mobile-first media platform with all of the next thinking on culture, music, sports, tech, lifestyle, politics, fashion and business in Africa and the diaspora. We want to discover and champion young African voices all over the world.
Editor-in-chief Claude Grunitzky – who founded TRACE Magazine and TRACE TV – and his team are looking for sports journalists to contribute to the platform. There is also a part-time role for a sports journalist based in our London office.
Are you up to speed with everything that’s happening in African sport? Do you know who is going to be the next big thing on the track, the pitch or the court? If you’re obsessed with the latest sportsmen and women, are as nimble with words as Eto’o with a ball, and want to tell the world your version of what’s happening in sport in Africa, whether on film, in photos or in words, please get in touch.
Please send in to firstname.lastname@example.org a brief summary of what sporting events you would have covered in the past week and two pitches for articles we should be featuring on TRUE AFRICA.
Feel free to share this with your network. If you are interested in contributing yourself, in any of our sections – culture, politics, tech and fashion – please get in touch with features editor Fleur Macdonald email@example.com.
